Billing Questions
Beginning January 1, 2026, Roaring Fork Neurology has adopted a direct pay billing model, with the exception of traditional Medicare and Medicaid - which we will continue to bill and accept as full payment. This means transparent pricing for you, due at the time of your visit. We will continue to bill and accept Medicare payments for traditional Medicare and Medicaid in combination with any secondary insurances associated with your Medicare plan. However, we no longer accept Medicare Advantage. While we will no longer bill private insurance, we can provide you with a superbill and receipt so that you can submit directly for out-of-network reimbursement or credit towards your private insurance deductible. You can choose to pay by visit or take advantage of NeuroEssentials or NeuroPlus bundled plans below which offer an elevated value. We also offer a sliding scale rate of 50% off for anyone with a household income of <$75,000 from the prior tax year. If you wish to be considered for the sliding scale pricing, please send a copy of the prior year’s tax return to info@rfneurology.com.

This transition allows us to:
Spend more time with you, not on hold with insurance companies.
Simplify billing with less administrative overhead
Provide options for single visits or bundled care
Base decisions purely on your medical needs, not insurance algorithms.
Offer transparent pricing and flexible options, including a sliding scale. If you would like to sign up for our sliding scale, please email us info@rfneurology.com. We require a past year tax return showing < $75K annual household income.
Provide additional services that are focused on prevention of neurodegenerative diseases, an offering not currently covered by insurance.
